and quadrilaterals.
7.G.3.b Determine surface area and volume of composite rectangular and triangular prisms.
7.G.3.c Determine the area and circumference of circles both on and off the coordinate plane using 3.14 for the value of Pi.
Scale Drawing
A drawing that represents an object or figure with proportions that are the same as the actual object, but the drawing is either smaller or larger.
Adjacent Angles
Two angles that share a common vertex and a common side and do not overlap.
Linear Pair
Two adjacent angles whose noncommon sides form a straight line. The angles in a linear pair are supplementary.
Supplementary Angles
Two angles whose measures add up to 180°.
Complementary Angles
Two angles whose measures add up to 90°.
Vertical Angles
A pair of opposite angles formed when two lines intersect. Vertical angles always have equal measures.
Circumference
The distance around a circle.
Cross Section
The two-dimensional shape formed when a three-dimensional figure is cut by a plane.
Composite Figure
A figure that is made up of two or more simpler geometric figures.
